Dear Messy Friends,
The year is racing on and it’s already February!
This month we’re going to be talking hidden treasures.
“The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field. One day a
man found the treasure, and then he hid it in the field again. The man
was very happy to find the treasure. He went and sold everything that he
owned to buy that field.”
Matthew 13: v 44 (International Children’s Bible)
The man was so happy to find the treasure, how happy will we in with the
Kingdom of Heaven?
This month’s Messy Church is on Saturday 11th February at 11 am. We will
be looking at the story of the hidden treasure and the the story of the
pearl. We will be going on a treasure hunt, finding pearls among
seaweed, praying with coins, and decorating biscuits. We will then go
into church for a period of worship, before sharing a yummy lunch of
soup.
We hope to see you there!
Messy blessings
